JANUSZ KAWA BIOGRAPHY
Born in Warsaw, Poland 1975 - 1980 B.F.A degree in Photography and Film, from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
1983 - 1985 Photo Assistant to fashion photographer Pamela Hanson and Aurther Elgort in Paris.
1986 First published photographs in Jill magazine, Per Lui, Marie France, Paris
1989 Group photo show at the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Paris.
1990 - 1992 Photographs feature in french magazine Cosmopolitan, New York Times Magazine, GQ, Australian Vogue.
1993 Group show at L’ Hotel de la Princess Robech, Paris, photography and a film installation.
1997 Begin teaching photography at the School of Visual Arts of New York. Director of Photography for a music video of Peck Slip.
1998 Group show at the E3 Gallery, New York.
